Welcome to Esik Creations online!
This site is dedicated to the handmade development of beautiful and innovative jewellery. As you browse our site you will find both the conventional and surprisingly natural examples of 21st centenry jewellery. We specialise not only in beaded costume jewellery but also in the recycling of County Down's natural and unique sea treasures as you view our selection of sea glass, shell and stone necklaces.
Based in Newtownards, County Down the author of these natural pieces has walked the entire coastline of Northern Ireland. Our Sea glass has primarily been recovered form Crawfordsburn county down (pictured above)- located on the coast between the picturesque and famous marina town of Bangor and the beautiful beaches of Holywood at Sea Park along the Holywood Esplanade. A little further a field we visited Murlough Bay (pictured left) County Antrim - this area of unspoiled natural beauty is one of the oldest geological ares of the inspiring Antrim Coast Coastal Route located between the coastal town of Ballycastle and the old Coast Gurad station point of Torr head.
Last Saturday (26th April 2008) ESIK Creations exhibited at a Craft Fair in Newtownards. The fair was in aid of Northern Ireland Air Ambulance. Below is a picture of our stall at Carrol's Memorial Band Hall. A great day was had by all and we received great interest in our natural, sea-perfected products. Many thanks to the organisers - Elwood Prints. Over £200 was raised for charity and it was a joy to share and back such positive feedback on our jewellery.
